The Big Day

Location: Osteria Via Stato 📍 620 North State Street Chicago, Illinois 60654
Parking: You can get parking validation for $10 (tell them you’re there for our wedding) and then self-park (separate from hotel parking) at 33 W Ontario for $10, or use SpotHero. There will be no valet the day of the wedding.
Uber/Lyft Drop-off: You can be dropped off right outside the restaurant.

We’ll be renting out the top floor of our apartment complex and catering brunch—it’ll be a casual chance to swap stories from the dance floor, eat good food, and say goodbye before we all head home.
Dress Code
Ceremony & Reception: Cocktail attire (suits, dresses, you know the drill). It might be a good idea to bring a light jacket, Chicago October nights can get chilly!
Rehearsal Dinner: Dressy Casual
Post-Wedding Brunch: Casual (let your hair down, we’ve been dressed up all weekend; t-shirts and jeans are totally acceptable).
Food & Drinks
We’re serving good stuff, think fine Italian dining. There will be vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available! Let us know when you RSVP, but the venue can handle it the day of as well.

What time should I arrive?
Ceremony is at 5:30 PM, so please arrive by 5:00 PM. Reception follows immediately.
Can I bring a plus-one?
If your invitation says “+ Guest,” yes! Otherwise, we’re keeping it intimate.
Are kids welcome?
We love your little ones, but this is an adults-only celebration.
Will there be parking?

What’s the weather like?
Mid-October in Chicago is usually warm during the day and chilly at night. Ceremony is indoors, but for cocktail hour you’ll have the option to go outside. Dress accordingly!
**Update on Our Beijing Wedding Celebration ❤️🇨🇳
Hi everyone,
We wanted to share an update about our Beijing wedding celebration. After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to postpone the trip from March 2026 to March 2027. Between juggling time, travel logistics, and family schedules and wanting to make sure the trip is done right, we think it makes sense to wait just a little longer.
We’re still 100% planning to organize a trip to China, just one year later.
Thank you all so much for understanding and for wanting to come with us. We will share more details about the trip in the beginning of 2026.
